When the LDPE program was updated and renamed KPD, existing LDPE patient records were converted to work within the KPD. One of the changes from LDPE to KPD was the inclusion of two (2) additional antigen values required to indicate the HLA as complete. This would not be an issue unless a change of status is required on these types of records. When a change is made, the KPD runs a verification to determine if there is any missing required data in the records, and of course, all of the converted LDPE records are missing the two antigens mentioned above. This means that unless these HLA values are entered and the HLA results are confirmed, it is impossible to save the status change.
