How do I enter an alternate ID?

It is possible to enter an alternate ID for any patient in the Canadian Transplant Registry. In order to do so:

  • Open the patient record
  • Select the Personal tab
  • Locate the Alternate IDs section
  • Click the Add button
  • Enter the alternate ID in the Alternate ID field
  • Select the type of ID entered above in the ID Type drop-down
  • Click on the Update button
  • Click on the Save icon
